Law School representatives meet with prospective students at UNM Oct. 16

The Western Association of Pre-Law Advisors and University of New Mexico Political Science Department will host the 5th annual New Mexico Law Day on Monday, Oct. 16, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Student Union Building, ballrooms A&B.

The UNM School of Law will host a special session on admissions at 1 p.m. in the political science department, rm. 2069.

In addition to UNM, representatives from some 50 law schools will share information about the legal profession, legal education and the job market for law graduates.

“Law schools from all regions of the U.S. will be here to talk with students and Albuquerque-area residents. Attendees can ask questions about admissions, the law school process, financial aid, jobs, salaries and more,” said Ellen Grigsby, a UNM political science lecturer who organizes the annual event.

The event is part of a weeklong series of Law Days at universities throughout the Western states and is funded by the Western Association of Pre-Law Advisors.
