Parking Enforcement Increased on Saturdays

Beginning May 5th, 2007, UNM Department of Parking and Transportation Services will provide additional enforcement on weekends to ensure the proper use of restricted areas. Restricted areas include fire zones with red curbs, safety zones with yellow curbs, official vehicle zones, service vehicle zones, loading zones, reserved meters (red), and reserved parking spaces. These areas are limited to use by those with authorization and special permits.

UNM Parking and Transportation Services will increase active enforcement of restricted areas between 7 am and 6 pm on Saturdays.

Regular zone parking spaces will still be available for use without a permit, and non-reserved meters (gray or green) may be used at no charge. The Cornell Parking Structure will also be available for use on the weekends at no charge unless there is an event.
