WHAT: Joint announcement by the University of New Mexico and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation of the largest private gift in UNM history that will create a national center for health policy at UNM – attracting minority scholars to the social sciences in order to impact national health policy.
WHEN: Thursday, January 11, 2007 at 10:45 a.m.
WHERE: Lobo Room, upper level of the Student Union Building on the UNM main campus
WHO: Participants include Dr. John Lumpkin, senior vice president of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation; NM Human Services Cabinet Secretary Pam Hyde, representing Governor Bill Richardson; Acting UNM President David Harris, Provost/Ex. VP for Academic Affairs Reed Dasenbrock and Ex. VP for Health Sciences Dr. Paul Roth
Parking is available in the Cornell Parking Structure east of Popejoy on the UNM main campus. The Student Union Building is north of Popejoy. Elevators are located just inside the south entrance.
