Students Learn Ins and Outs of College, Careers at Free UNM Camp

Students entering grades 9, 10, 11 and 12 this fall will have an opportunity to learn more about college while exploring career opportunities with the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and the United States Forest Service (USFA).

Students will learn in the ins and outs of college life through an intensive residential college preparation camp June 17-23.

The camp is free, including classes, room and board, activities and transportation.

Applications must be postmarked no later than April 14.

Participants will be taught skills in critical thinking, team building, leadership and will gain an understanding of government jobs from agents working in the USDA, BLM and USFA fields.
