Hutton Receives Western Heritage Award

University of New Mexico History Professor Paul Hutton has won a Western Heritage Award from the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum for his article “Silver Screen Desperado: Billy the Kid in the Movies” published in the Spring 2007 issue of the New Mexico Historical Review. The black-tie awards ceremony is Saturday, April 12 in Oklahoma City. This is Hutton’s fifth Western Heritage Award. The article also received the Ray Allen Billington Award from the Western History Association.
