Barela, 505-277-5299 April 25, 2008 Bouldin Receives UNM's Alumni Citizenship Award In honor of UNM’s finest students in academics, leadership and citizenship, the University of New Mexico awarded Laura E. Bouldin the Alumni Citizenship Award at the 2008 Recognition Reception on April 10. Bouldin, a native of Allen, TX is the daughter of David and Jackie Bouldin. She is a graduate of Allen High School in Allen and will earn her Bachelor’s of Science in Athletic Training and Psychology. The Alumni Citizenship Award is intended to recognize endeavor, helpfulness, good spirit, and cooperation, rather than to cap outstanding achievement. The award is given to a select number of seniors who have demonstrated outstanding leadership skills and have provided continued service to the University and the community. Bouldin, along with five other Alumni Citizenship Award recipients were good company at the ceremony as they shared the stage with over 30 other students honored for their excellence in education and community service. Congratulations to this entire group of students who makes UNM proud! |
