Guilinger Receives UNM's Alumni Citizenship Award

In honor of UNM’s finest students in academics, leadership and citizenship, the University of New Mexico awarded Sara Page Guilinger the Alumni Citizenship Award at the 2008 Recognition Reception April 10.

Guilinger, a native of Albuquerque and is the daughter of Terry and Jacquelyn Guilinger. She is a graduate of La Cueva High School and will earn her Bachelor’s of Sciences in Biology. The Alumni Citizenship Award is intended to recognize endeavor, helpfulness, good spirit, and cooperation, rather than to cap outstanding achievement. The award is given to a select number of seniors who have demonstrated outstanding leadership skills and have provided continued service to the University and the community.

Guilinger, along with five other Alumni Citizenship Award recipients were good company at the ceremony as they shared the stage with over 30 other students honored for their excellence in education and community service. Congratulations to this entire group of students who makes UNM proud!
