Ramirez the Raza Excellence Outstanding Student Award at the 2008 Recognition Reception on April 10. Ramirez , a native of Springfield, Il is the son of Joan Ramirez. He is a graduate of Lanphier High School in Springfield and will earn his Master’s degree in Community and Regional Planning . The Raza Excellence Outstanding Student Award is given to students who have demonstrated an immense commitment to the Raza community and who have performed well academically. Ramirez, along with three other Raza Excellence Outstanding Student Award recipients were good company at the ceremony as they shared the stage with over 30 other students honored for their excellence in education and community service. Congratulations to this entire group of students who makes UNM proud! |
