A Metro Court jury decided Wednesday that his behavior was also illegal.

3. Lynch Found Guilty (Eye on Albuquerque)

We're getting reports from our Eyes downtown that Peter Ryan Lynch has been found guilty for misdemeanor destruction of property. The sentencing is supposed to take place later today and our Eye tell us that Mr. Lynch faces a fine and up to 6 months in jail for his actions.

4. Officers say they were discriminated against (Daily Lobo)

The state's Department of Workforce Solutions ruled March 12 that there is probable cause to believe two UNM Police officers have been discriminated against because of their sexual orientation.

5. Survey: UNM isn't quite a dream school (Daily Lobo)

11. Cream the dean (Las Cruces Sun News)

New Mexico State University Provost Waded Cruzado-Salas launches a cream-filled pie at former Gov. Garrey Carruthers, dean of NMSU's School of Business, during the Cream the Dean event Wednesday. Delta Sigma Pi, a business fraternity, is raising funds for cancer research through the Huntsman Cancer Institute, according to fraternity member Stephanie Snodgrass. Faculty members paid $50 to smack Carruthers with a pie, while students paid $5. According to members of Delta Sigma Pi, the event raised nearly $1,000.

12. NMSU Names Finalists for Arts & Sciences Dean (Albuquerque Journal)

New Mexico State University today announced five finalists for dean of the College of Arts and Sciences. They will be interviewed on campus April 7-11.

13. Española College Gets $1.2M Award (Albuquerque Journal)

The federal Economic Development Administration has awarded $1.2 million to Northern New Mexico College in Española.

The money will help build an automotive technology facility on the college's Española campus. The project is expected to create 50 new jobs and generate $800,000 in private investment.

The EDA serves as a venture capital resource for "distressed" communities throughout the country.
