The new policies which represent a compromise among UNM, the New Mexico Foundation for Open Government and the Journal specify that UNM will comply with the state Inspection of Public Records Act.

Several of Albuquerque’s newest corporate additions will be recruiting employees at a career fair on Aug. 19.
Hewlett-Packard and Fidelity HR Services will be among the 20 or so employers at the fair, which is being organized by Local Educational Adult Resources Network, or LEARN, a nonprofit consortium of 12 universities, including Webster University, National American University, University of New Mexico and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.

While ABQ Ride still plans on charging its passengers to use a bus transfer, the agency has backed away from the original idea of charging 50 cents and will charge 25 cents instead.
The start of the new policy also has been pushed back a few weeks to Sept. 2.
