Michael Dougher Appointed UNM Associate Vice President for Research

Michael Dougher has been appointed as the new associate vice president for research. His focus will be finding ways to better integrate research and education at UNM. His most recent appointment has been associate dean for research in the College of Arts and Sciences.

Dougher has served as the department chair for psychology and as the interim director of the Center for Alcoholism, Substance Abuse and Addictions. He is a member of the Executive Research Advisory Committee and the Research Study Group.
