UNM to Begin Search for Anderson School of Management Dean

The search committee for a new dean at the University of New Mexico’s Anderson School of Management has been set. The committee consists of members from across the campus as well as several community members. The chair of the search committee is UNM School of Architecture Dean Roger Schluntz.

Faculty members include: Dennis Togo, professor, Accounting; Nick Flor, associate professor, MIS; Rob DelCampo, associate professor, Organizational Studies; O.C. Ferrell, professor, MIDS; Na Dai, assistant professor, FIT;

Staff members include: Mickey Byrd, Manager (Management Development Center), while outside members include: Marc Nigliazzo, vice president, Rio Rancho & Branch Academic Affairs; Frank Crocetti, Fidelity Investments; and Terri Cole, president, Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce

Carol Cochran, board president, REDW, will represent the Anderson Foundation Board and Maria Griego Raby, president, Contract Associates and Bob Wertheim, founder, Charter Bank, will represent Anderson’s National Advisory.

Additionally, Lucie Want, graduate student, executive vice president, Net Impact and undergraduate Jonathan Sharp, president, Net Impact, will represent students. The search coordinator is Jennifer Love.

The committee’s first meeting will take place on September 23, 2008. The announcement of a finalist is planned for Spring 2009.
