Artesia Student Re-elected to UNM Student Leadership Positions

University of New Mexico student Chelsea Stallings, an Artesia High School graduate, has been reelected senator of the Associated Students of the University of New Mexico (ASUNM), the undergraduate student governing body.

Stallings, who is majoring in Health, Medicine, and Human Values/Pre-Med, is the daughter of Darrick and Tami Stallings.

ASUNM aims to protect students rights through recognizing certain students’ rights including the right to complete a liberal education, the right to access the resources necessary to promote that education, the right to freely express ideas and thoughts that are a product of that education and the right to participate in the processes and institutions that will ensure this education remains worthy and acceptable.
