Media Advisory

What: Special UNM Faculty Meeting
When: 3 p.m., Wednesday, February 25, 2009
Where: Popejoy Hall, UNM Center for the Arts, UNM main campus

This is a business meeting of the UNM faculty and as such is governed by regulations contained in the Faculty Handbook.

  • Media are invited to the meeting and all are requested to occupy a designated media area on the main floor of Popejoy Hall. Representatives from University Communication and Marketing will show media representatives to the designated area. Sound will be provided.
  • Camera set-up can begin at 2:30 p.m.
  • Media are asked to use existing lighting only. Please, no flash or additional lights.
  • Cutaway shots can be taken from the alcoves on either side of the main auditorium. Cameras are asked to stay out of the aisles and away from the front of the main hall near the stage as these areas will be used for speakers from the audience.
  • TV stations interested in doing live shots are asked by Parking Services to locate their trucks north of the Student Union Building.

  • UCAM will provide media packets at the meeting.
