The International Studies Institute presents “REVOLUTIONS OF 1989: From Tiananmen Square to the Berlin Wall” Nov. 2-9. The first lecture, “Nothing Happened Here: Tiananmen Square 1989” is on Monday, Nov. 2 at 2 p.m. in Dane Smith Hall 120. The closing lecture, “Tearing Down the Wall: The East German Revolution and German Unification, 1989-1990,” coincides with the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall on Monday, Nov. 9, 5:30 p.m. at the Student Union Building, ballroom B. Lynn M. Moran and Mary E. Woolley, professor of anthropology at Mount Holyoke College will present “Reproductive Rights and Wrongs in Contemporary Latin America” in the Hibben Center, room 105.

Native American Studies presents a talk and discussion by Chun-Chieh Chi, “Indigenous People and the Making of State-Sanctioned Multicultural Taiwan,” in George Pearl Hall, room P130. Call 505-277-3917.
