UNM Presents Educator’s Job Fair 2010

The University of New Mexico Office of Career Services presents Educator’s Job Fair 2010 onWednesday, April 21, 2-6 p.m. in the UNM Student Union Building ballrooms. The Educator’s Job Fair is open to UNM students, alumni and community members interested in education-related jobs and careers. Recruiters from New Mexico as well as many other areas of the nation will attend this event.

Professional interview attire and preparation (i.e. resumes, portfolios and relevant credentials) are expected.

Coinciding with the Educator’s Job Fair is Resume Rescue. During Resume Rescue, job seekers can come to Career Services and meet with a career development facilitator on a walk-in basis to create or update a resume or ask any questions related to the career fair. Resume Rescue is on April 16, 19 and 20, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

Career Services will also conduct three How to Work a Career Fair workshops. Topics include general job search processes, career fairs, resumes and interviews, and any questions or topics asked by the workshop group. The workshops are on Friday, April 16, 3-4 p.m., Monday, April 19, 10-11 a.m., and Tuesday, April 20, noon-1 p.m.

Workshops and Resume Rescue are in the Office of Career Services, University Advisement & Enrichment Center, Student Services room 220.
