Marsha Moore Thompson
Marsha Moore Thompson, 45, died from a malignant brain tumor Nov. 7 in Las Vegas, Nev.
In 1996, Thompson joined the UNM Health and Sciences Center Department of Pediatrics. As an assistant professor and director of the UNM Cystic Fibrosis Center she worked hard for causes that benefited children with asthma and cystic fibrosis. She was recognized nationally for her achievements in terms of care and education of cystic fibrosis. Thompson served on Cystic Fibrosis Foundation local chapter board.
