International space, technology forum set
Journey into the future Feb. 11-14
Space Exploration and Transportation: Journey into the Future is
the theme for the annual UNM Institute for Space and Nuclear Power Studies Space
and Technology and Applications International Forum set for Feb. 11-14 at the
Albuquerque Hyatt Regency.
A series of five conferences associated with space technology and applications
will take place. Among the dignitaries invited to speak at the forum are Earl
Wahlquist, Office of Engineering and Technology, Department of Energy; Arnauld
Nicogossian, NASA Headquarters; Robert Sackheim, NASA Marshall Space Flight
Center; and Astronaut Bonnie Dunbar, NASA Johnson Space Center.
The forum will also include three plenary sessions.
The forum technical and publication chair is UNM Regents Professor Mohamed
S. El-Genk, Director of the Institute for Space and Nuclear Power Studies.
