Flamenco sensation

Eva Encinas-Sandoval (top left) directs the 15th Annual Festival Flamenco Internacional held at UNM June 4-15. The UNM College of Fine Arts Department of Theatre and Dance offers the only program in the United States with a fully developed curriculum in Flamenco Dance. Students may focus, through departmental advisement, on the art of Flamenco while fulfilling BA degree requirements. Students are encouraged to participate for two summers in the annual Flamenco Festival. (Top right) Festival participant Maya De Silva.
