Parking holds permit lottery for Zone T
Parking & Transportation Services will hold an electronic permit lottery for the new Zone T lot opening soon at the corner of University and Lomas.
Enter at http://parktrans.unm.edu/turner.cfm before March 16.
The lot will feature more than 450 permit parking spaces, shuttle service to Maxwell Museum, and supplemental bicycle patrol security.
Distance Education Forum March 21
A distance education forum will be held at Dane Smith Hall, rm. 123, on Wednesday, March 21 at 1 p.m.
Panelists include Mark F. Smith of the AAUP Special Committee on Distance Education and Intellectual Property Issues, UNM Associate Prof. of Anthropology Robert Leonard, and Dr. Richard Howell from UNM Extended University. Also present will be Robert Bienstock from University Counsel.
The forum is free and open to the public. UNM faculty and research staff are encouraged to attend.
Penny Drive benefits Children's Hospital
Seven-year old Amanda Kleist, a first grader at San Antonito Elementary, has organized a penny drive to raise funds for Children's Hospital. The money will purchase stuffed animals and books for patients.
Donate at San Antonito or East Mountain businesses through the end of March.
UNM team to walk for Breast Cancer
Join UNM co-workers for a day of "fun-raising."on Sunday, April 1, at the American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer five-mile walk along the Rio Grande River in Albuquerque.
