The School of Architecture and Planning recently celebrated its first 30 years by inviting early graduates and administrators back to UNM. Many of those who served as heads of the program joined in the celebration. Pictured in front of the design for the new UNM architecture building (from left): George Anselevicius 1981-1993, Ric Richardson 1995-1999, Tim Vreeland 1965-1968, Roger Schluntz 1999-present, and Don Schlegel 1968-1975 and 1979-1981.

The German Society recently sponsored “Gulaschtag,” a benefit lunch featuring authentic Hungarian gulasch made by German Professor Peter Pabisch (far left). Assisting in the effort is pharmacy professor emeritus and German student Philip Lehrmann, and student Winston Bokor. Lining up for a bowl is Lerke Foster and Charles Knoblauch.

In Agreement

UNM Provost Brian Foster (left) and Secretario General Carlos Briseño Torres, University of Guadalajara (UDG), recently signed an agreement to allow for student and faculty exchanges between the respective institutions. Subsequently, Torres presented Foster with a book about UDG.
