Paul Biderman, director of the Judicial Education Center at the Institute
of Public Law at the School of Law, was elected to a one-year term as President
of the National Association of State Judicial Educators at their annual conference
in August.
The association represents and offers educational and support services to state and local judicial educators throughout the U.S.

UNMs Continuing Education Training Development and Instructional
Technology (TDIT) program has received the national 2001 Special Products
and Services award for its sponsor the New Mexico chapter of the American Society
for Training and Development (ASTD).
The TDIT program is a professional certificate program in the
fields of instructional technology, curriculum and organizational development.
The program has only been around for only a year, yet has
10 graduates this fall, with more than 75 students attending the evening classes,
said Martha Binford, program instructor from inception.
The New Mexico chapter will accept their award in Washington D.C. Oct. 19.
