UNM at Kirtland Air Force Base hosts Open House
UNM will host a fourth annual open house at Kirtland Air Force Base on Thursday, Aug. 9 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The event features academic advising, free career assessments and information on testing for college credit. Food, music and prizes round out the event. All active duty military, civilians, retirees, contractors and family are encouraged to attend.

Power outage set for Aug. 4
Power will be turned off in main campus buildings on Saturday, Aug. 4 starting at 5 a.m. Some buildings will lose power Friday evening. Power should be restored to all buildings before 2 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 5.
For information about specific facilities, contact the building coordinator or Bill Tryens at the Physical Plant, 277-1141.
Mary Baker Eddy focus of lecture, exhibit
The life of Mary Baker Eddy, pioneer in mind-body medicine and religious leader, will be the focus of a talk presented by Marceil DeLacy, on Tuesday, Aug. 14 at 7 p.m. in the Kiva Lecture Hall.
A multimedia exhibit on Eddys life is featured at the Student Services Building through Aug. 29.
The exhibit and talk are sponsored by the UNM Womens Resource Center and the Women Studies Program. For more information call 277-3716.

The Evening and Weekend Degree Program is sponsoring an information session for non-traditional students on Thursday, Aug. 9 at 7 p.m. in rooms G and H at the Continuing Education Building, 1634 University NE.
