UNM TO INTRODUCE HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS TO CAMPUS LIFE SEPT. 14

The University of New Mexico will host "Senior Day" designed to introduce high school seniors to campus life on Saturday, Sept. 14 from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Tours of campus will be provided along with information on everything from admission and financial aid to academic programs and student activities.

The prospective students will be treated to a chilifest lunch at 12:30 p.m. To top off the day, discounted football tickets for the UNM Lobos vs. Baylor Bears game will be available to students and families. The game begins at 6:05 p.m. at the UNM stadium.

Sponsored by the UNM Division of Student Affairs/Office of Recruitment Services, the annual event serves as the major fall visitation day for high school seniors.

"Traditionally, we host more than 800 prospective students and their parents," says Harold Pope, associate director of UNM Recruitment Services.

For information, call 505-277-2260 or 1-800-CALL UNM (225-5866), ext. 3.
