UNM hosts comprehensive success presentation for incoming freshmen
The University of New Mexico Dean of Students Office will host Making
College Count Freshman Orientation for incoming freshmen Tuesday,
Sept. 10 at 7 p.m. in Woodward 101 on the UNM campus.
The free orientation will be delivered on campuses nationwide to more
than 100,000 college freshmen during the fall semester.
The student-interactive presentation is designed to complement the college
preparatory efforts of orientation staff, professors and administrators.
The program provides students with comprehensive information on transitional
issues such as time management, study skills and goal-setting as well
as ways to maximize opportunities upon graduation.
The program, provided at no cost to colleges and universities, is made
possible through corporate partnerships with companies like Mentos, AT&T,
Student Advantage, Head & Shoulders, Zest, Folgers and PriceWaterhouseCoopers.
Key content from the presentation can be found online at www.MakingItCount.com.
