UNM NUCLEAR ENGINEERING STUDENT RECEIVES FELLOWSHIP

Lisa Cordova, a nuclear engineering graduate student at the University of New Mexico, has received a fellowship from the Advanced Accelerator Application (AAA) University Fellowship Program.

The newly developed program supports up to 10 new graduate fellows each year according to the Office of Nuclear Energy, Science and Technology of the U.S. Department of Energy and University Research Alliance of Amarillo, Texas.

The 10 AAA fellows will receive up to $42,500 in benefits as they work toward master’s degrees and conduct advanced fuel cycle research.
