Feb. 12, 2003 UNM PRESS DIRECTOR TO MODERATE PANEL ON SUBMITTING BOOK MANUSCRIPTS PEN New Mexico, in collaboration with the New Mexico Book Association
and the University of New Mexico, will host a panel discussion on how
to properly submit a book manuscript on Friday, Feb. 21, at 7 p.m. in
Dane Smith Hall, rm. 125, on the UNM main campus. The event is free and
open to the public. David Stuart, UNM associate provost, will give an introduction. Luther Wilson, director of UNM Press, will speak and serve as panel moderator.
Other panelists are Ana Gallegos, Museum of New Mexico Press; and John
Crawford, West End Press. The discussion will be followed by a question
and answer period. PEN New Mexico, as part of its Writers Toolbox program and funded by
grants from PEN USA WEST and the National Endowment for the Arts, developed
the panel to aid the professional development of writers, published and
unpublished. PEN New Mexico urges those attending from Santa Fe to participate in a carpool leaving from the Santa Fe Business Incubator, 3900 Paseo del Sol (off Airport Road), at 5:30 p.m. ### |
