41 SEEK SEATS ON THE KUNM RADIO BOARD

Forty-one candidates are vying to fill the four community representative slots for the spring 2003 KUNM Radio Board election. Anyone who has contributed $20 or more to KUNM within the past two years, and the KUNM staff, is eligible to vote. The deadline for balloting is Monday, March 10 at 5 p.m.

The four individuals receiving the most votes will fill the designated board positions; the fifth highest will be designated as an alternate. The alternate will be seated if one of the four elected community representatives is unable to complete his or her two-year term of office.

To assist in selecting representatives to the KUNM Radio Board, each candidate submitted a biographical sketch and a statement outlining his or her reasons for wanting to serve on the board. Biographical sketches and statements are available on the KUNM Web site at http://kunm.unm.edu/.

A candidate forum will be aired on KUNM 89.9 on Saturday, March 1 from 5-7 p.m. and on Sunday, March 2 from 5-7 p.m.
