UNM Honors Top Ten Percent of New Mexico High School Juniors The University of New Mexico Alumni Association and Office of Outreach
Services will host a “Star Scholar” reception honoring the
top ten percent of Las Vegas and surrounding area high school juniors.
The reception will be held on Tuesday, April 15 at 6:30 p.m. at El Rialto
in Las Vegas, 141 Bridge Street. Juniors from surrounding high schools are invited to attend the Las
Vegas program. High schools invited to attend include Cimmarron, Clayton,
Des Moines, Maxwell, Mora, Mosquero, Raton, Robertson Roy, Springer,
Wagon Mound and West Las Vegas. Special guests from UNM will address students, parents, community leaders
and friends at the receptions. The awarding of a certificate of recognition
to each student will highlight the evening. Students are encouraged to RSVP by April 11 to 277-3430 or 800-CALL-UNM, #3. ###
