April 18, 2003 FACULTY SENATE MEETING SCHEDULED The University of New Mexico Faculty Senate will hold its regular monthly
meeting Tuesday, April 22, at 3 p.m. in the Roberts Room, room 230,
Scholes Hall. Agenda items include a Memorial Minute for Journalism Professor Henry
Trewhitt, President's Report, Provost's Report and the Faculty Senate
President's Report. Consent Agenda topics include April Faculty Senate Committee Appointments,
curricula changes and the Spring 2003 Degree Candidates List. Discussion agenda topics include the Research Misconduct Policy, Revisions
to the Conflicts of Interest in Research Policy and an Emeritus Policy. Following, the meeting will close to discuss the UNM presidential candidates,
pursuant to Section 10-15-1.H(2) (limited personnel matters). UNM faculty
members may attend and participate, pursuant to the Faculty Constitution
sec 6(e), but otherwise the meeting will be closed. Additionally, a special meeting of the Faculty Senate is scheduled
for Wednesday, April 23, from 12-2 p.m. in Mitchell Hall 122 to discuss
the UNM presidential candidates. UNM faculty are invited, but the meeting
