Public Service Announcement June 13, 2003 HEALERS, CURANDERAS TO PROVIDE FREE COMMUNITY SERVICE More than 40 healers and curanderas from Cuernavaca, Mexico, will be
in Albuquerque June 15-21 taking part in the University of New Mexico
class "Curanderismo: Traditional Medicine Without Borders."
They will also provide community service and demonstrate their traditional
methods at a number of locations in Albuquerque including:
The healers and curanderas look forward to meeting and working with
community members and families. There is no charge, although donations
will be accepted. For more information, call the UNM Women's Resource Center at 277-3716. ### |
