UNM’S ANDERSON SCHOOLS TO HOST ANNUAL CAREER FAIR

The Robert O. Anderson Schools of Management at the University of New Mexico will host its 18th Annual Career Fair on Tuesday, September 23, 2003, from 10 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., in the Ballroom of the newly renovated Student Union Building on the UNM campus.

“This is a great way for local, regional and national companies to recruit talented UNM students and alumni for their organizations,” said Drew Parsons, manager, Academic Advisement and Placement at the Anderson Schools. “It’s also an opportunity for students to network with employers, explore career options and submit their resume for internships and other full-time positions.”

The Career Fair is a campus-wide event open to all students, and will provide both undergraduate and graduate students an opportunity to learn about career opportunities and meet with recruiters. More than 40 companies, including local, regional and national firms such as Chevron Texaco, Citibank, Eli Lilly & Company, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Internal Revenue Service, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, Prudential Financial, Inc., Sears Roebuck and Target, are expected to participate.

Employer set-up and continental breakfast begins at 8 a.m. The recruiter cost is $150 per organization, which includes parking, display table, breakfast/lunch buffets, and refreshments.
