October 20, 2003 FITNESS EDUCATOR TO BE HONORED BY UNM GENERAL LIBRARY The UNM General Library will honor Associate Professor Len Kravitz, department of physical performance and development within the College of Education, on Friday, Oct. 31, from 2 - 3 p.m. in Zimmerman Library's Willard Reading Room. Kravitz, selected this year's College of Education's faculty acknowledgement honoree, will present, "Fascinating Highlights from the History of Fitness," focusing on the events and people helping to shape the direction of modern day health and fitness concepts and ideas. 2003 marks the tenth year the General Library has sponsored a monthly program of receptions to recognize UNM faculty for significant research achievements or other scholarly, creative publications, projects and endeavors at UNM. This event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served. # # #
