TRAINOR ELECTED EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR FOR NATIONAL NETWORK OF LAW SCHOOL OFFICERS

Patricia Trainor, University of New Mexico School of Law registrar, has been elected executive director for the National Network of Law School Officers (NNLSO).

The NNLSO has a membership of more than 600 members at 133 participating American Bar Association accredited law schools, which represents 71% of all accredited law schools.

A member of the network for eight years, she previously served as a board member and was chair of the by-laws committee and nominations and elections committee.

As executive director, Trainor will preside over all meetings and serve as chair of the NNLSO executive committee.

"A primary goal is to create an interest among our membership to do more quantitative research. Registrar and admission officers have huge databases at their disposal. It is important to use this information as a basis not only for decision making at each of our law schools but to also use it to develop new student delivery systems," Trainor said.
