April 12, 2002 UNM LAW SCHOOL HOSTS FORUM ON SANDIA PUEBLO LAND CLAIM The University of New Mexico School of Law will host a forum on the Sandia
Pueblo Indian Land Claim and proposed T'uf Shur Bien Preservation Trust
Area Saturday, April 20 from 2:30 to 5 p.m. in Bratton Hall, room 2401.
John Leshy, chief lawyer for the Department of Interior during the Clinton
administration, will give the overview. Panelists will include Stuwart Paisano, governor of Sandia Pueblo, and
Michael Robinson, New Mexico Wilderness Alliance. Representatives from the Sandia Mountain Coalition, Bernalillo County,
Sandia Mountain Tramway Co. and United States Forest Service have been
