UNM REGENTS TO MEET DEC. 11
The University of New Mexico Board of Regents will conduct its next regular
meeting Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2001 at 1 p.m. in the Roberts Room, room 230, Scholes
Hall.
The agenda includes Public Input Regarding Items on the Agenda, Approval of
the Summarized Minutes of the Nov. 13, 2001 meeting, the Administrative Report,
Comments from the Regents' Advisors, and Comments from the Regents.
Consent Agenda items are: From the Regents' Finance and Facilities Committee-Surplus
Property Disposition List Dated Nov. 16, 2001; From the Health Sciences Center
(HSC) Clinical Operations Board-Appointments to the UNM HSC Medical Staff; and,
from the Regents' Academic Student Affairs Committee-Ratification of the Fall
2001 Degree Candidates.
The first Discussion Item for Action will be Approval of the UNM Strategic
Plan-Parts I and II. Discussion Items for Action from the Regents Academic Student
Affairs Committee are Approval of the Proposals for the Master of Science in
Dental Hygiene, and Approval to Award Honorary Degrees. Discussion Items for
Action from the Regents' Finance and Facilities Committee are Approval of Revised
Memorandum of Agreement for the Caswell Silver Foundation; Approval of State
Funding Phase-In Plan for UNM Taos; and, Approval of the Revised Legislative
Funding Priorities for Fiscal Year 2002-03.
Also on the agenda is the Annual Meeting of the UNM Regents as the Member of
Lobo Energy, Inc., and the Annual Meeting of the UNM Regents as the Member of
the Science & Technology Corp. @ UNM.
The two Information Items from the Regents' Academic/Student Affairs Committee
are the Report on the Findings of the ASUNM Student Survey, and the Report of
Faculty, Contracts, Resignations, Retirements and Leaves.
A copy of the agenda will be available for public review in the Public Affairs
Dept., Second Floor, Hodgin Hall, and at the Zimmerman Library Reserve Desk
no later than 24 hours prior to the respective meeting.
Individuals with disabilities in need of a reader, amplifier, qualified sign language interpreter or any other form of auxiliary aid or service to attend or participate in a Board of Regents meeting should contact the Public Affairs Dept. at least one week prior to the respective meeting. Public documents, including the agenda and minutes, can be provided in various accessible formats and individuals who need accessible formats also should contact the Public Affairs Dept.
