UNM ANNOUNCES HOLIDAY HOURS
The winter holidays at UNM officially begin Friday, Dec. 21 at 5 p.m., and
will extend through Wednesday, Jan. 2, 8 a.m., giving most University employees
11 consecutive days off. Regular University hours resume on Wednesday, Jan.
2 at 8 a.m.
Certain critical facilities and departments, such as police and those involved
in patient care, will remain open during the holidays. Other major campus departments
and facilities have listed special holiday hours.
The University libraries have announced holiday hours. They include:
Zimmerman, Centennial Science and Engineering Library, Parish Memorial Library,
the Fine Arts Library: Closed Sunday, Dec. 16, open Dec. 17-21 from 9 a.m.-
6 p.m., except Zimmerman which will be open from 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. All branches
of the General Library will be closed Dec. 22-Jan. 1.
Law Library: Closed Dec. 16, open Dec. 17 - 23 from 9 a.m.- 6 p.m.; closed
Dec. 24-26; open Dec. 27-29 from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.; closed Dec. 30-Jan.1.
Health Sciences Center Library: Closed Dec. 16, open Dec. 17-21 from 7:30 a.m.-5
p.m.; closed Dec. 22-25; open Dec. 26-29 from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.; closed Dec. 30-Jan.

The CIRT building will close Sunday, Dec. 23 at midnight and reopen on Wednesday,
Jan. 2 at 7 a.m. All systems will be available to CIRT clients but will be unattended
by operators during the closure. Jobs that require tape mounts will not be run.
The UNM Network, TSM and Oracle will be available during this period.
CIRTDEV and CIRTPROD will be available. If file servers do not respond, report
the problem to the command center voice mail (operators will check messages
on a regular basis).
IDMS will be available for I-TEL-UNM inquiries.
No printed output will be available during the closure. All printed output
will be available upon reopening on Wednesday, Jan 2. Staff will be on call
for system or network problems.
The UNM Bookstore will be open regular hours through Saturday, Dec. 22; closed
Dec. 23-26; open Thursday-Friday, Dec. 27-28 from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.; closed Dec.
29-Jan. 1. Regular hours will resume on Wednesday, Jan. 2.
The Student Health Center will be closed Dec. 24 - Jan.1 and will reopen on Wednesday, Jan. 2 at 8 a.m.
