TOURISM EXPERT TO SPEAK ON MARKETING TO SMALL NEW MEXICAN COMMUNITIES
The Anderson Schools of Management (ASM) at UNM presents Dr. Edward Dramberger
as part of The Executive Speaker Series on Friday, March 1, from 2 to 4 p.m.,
at the Sheraton Old Town in Albuquerque. Dramberger, a national consultant and
professor of tourism, will discuss how small New Mexican communities can design
an effective marketing program in the wake of Sept. 11.
I see so much potential for New Mexicos small communities if they
understand that there are fundamental changes occurring in tourists travel
behavior, said Dramberger. This presentation is expected to cover
changing tourists perceptions, market segmentation, creating an appropriate
marketing mix after Sept. 11 and how knowledge of tourists consumer behavior
can improve advertising and marketing decisions.
Drambergers presentation is being sponsored by Southwest Airlines, the Sheraton Old Town, Wyndham Airport and the Tourism Management Association at the Anderson Schools. The talk is free and open to the public.
