UNM’s Center for the Southwest hosts its first lecture for 2002

University of New Mexico Professor Miguel Gandert will be the first to give a lecture for the 2002 spring semester at UNM’s Center for the Southwest on Jan. 24 at 3 p.m. at 1104 Mesa Vista Hall on the UNM campus.

Gandert will discuss Indo-Hispano contemporary rituals, four hundred years of Spanish colonial Meso-American confluence, in the form of a reading and visual comparison of photographs of New Mexican, Mexican and Bolivian rituals.
