ANDERSON SCHOOLS ANNOUNCES CLUB DAZE
The Anderson Schools of Management (ASM) at the University of New Mexico is
presenting Club Daze on Tuesday, Jan. 22 from 5 to 7 p.m. and on
Wednesday, Jan. 23 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. The two-day event, sponsored by Ford
Motor Company, will be held in The Anderson Schools outdoor breezeway.
The event showcases ASM student organizations that will be recruiting students
as new club members. Members who join student organizations increase their opportunities
to meet other students and faculty in their chosen fields, to network with business
professionals and to develop teamwork and leadership skills.
Currently ASM has 14 student organizations including: American Business Association;
Association of Information Technology Professionals, Associated of Graduate
Business Students, Beta Alpha Psi, Collegiate Entrepreneurs Organization,
Delta Sigma Pi, Finance and Investment Association, Hispanic Business Student
Association, Marketing Association, Net Impact, Operations Management Student
Organization, Society for Human Resource Management, Tourism Management Association,
and Women Excelling in Business.
Students that join any student organization will receive a complimentary Anderson Schools t-shirt and will be entered in a drawing to win one of four UNM Bookstore gift certificates. Interested students with questions should call Drew Parsons in the Advisement and Placement office at 277-8441 or via e-mail at: parsons@mgt.unm.edu.
