DESIGN COMPETITION AND LECTURE POSTPONED

The University of New Mexico School of Architecture and Planning is postponing the Rinker Materials Design Competition scheduled for Monday, March 18 from 1-3 p.m. The John Gaw Meem Lecture by Gordon Wittenberg scheduled to follow the competition at 5:30 p.m. is also postponed.

Gordon Wittenberg, Rice University, is ill and unable to come to judge the competition or speak. "We want to work with this particular group of judges. We will reschedule both the design competition and the lecture when Mr. Wittenberg is able to come," said Gabriella Gutierrez, associate dean, School of Architecture and Planning.

Other jurors for the competition, Daryl Gorenflo, general manager of Rinker Materials; George Anselevicius, former dean of the school; and special judge, Susan Harper, psychologist, have all agreed to judge when Wittenberg is able to participate.
