REGENTS' ACADEMIC/STUDENT AFFAIRS COMMITTEE MEETS DEC. 4

The University of New Mexico Board of Regents' Academic/Student Affairs Committee will conduct its next regular monthly meeting Tuesday, Dec. 4, at 4:30 p.m. in the Roberts Room, room 230, Scholes Hall.

In addition to the approval of the minutes from the Oct. 2, 2001 meeting and the public open comment forum, the agenda includes reports and/or comments from the Regents' advisors, the Provost and the Vice President for Student Affairs.

Action items are Ratification of the Fall 2001 Prospective Degree Candidates and a New Degree Proposal for Master of Science in Dental Hygiene.

Information items are Faculty Hires, Leaves, Retirements and Sabbaticals; the Associated Students of UNM Student Survey; and, an Update on the Student Union and Child Care Construction Projects.

Copies of the agenda will be available for public review in the Public Affairs Dept., Second Floor, Hodgin Hall, no later than 24 hours prior to the meeting.

Individuals with disabilities in need of a reader, amplifier, qualified sign language interpreter or any other form of auxiliary aid or service to attend or participate in a Board of Regents meeting should contact the Public Affairs Dept. at least one week prior to the respective meeting. Public documents, including the agenda and minutes, can be provided in various accessible formats and individuals who need accessible formats also should contact the Public Affairs Dept.
