Correction
The April 24 issue of Campus News incorrectly
stated that UNM Professor of Anthropology Lawrence Straus had
been elected to the National Academy of Sciences. Straus was
elected by the academy to be a member of the U.S. National Committee
for INQUA (International Union for Quaternary Research). We apologize
for the error.
