Cornelis "Kase" Klein, professor in Earth and Planetary Sciences, displays incarnations of "Manual of Mineralogy," the longest, continuously published text since 1848. As an author of the 22nd edition, now titled, "Mineral Science", it is "closer to the natural science of mineralogy," says Klein. The book, which now includes a CD ROM to allow students to manipulate molecular structures, aids in students' understanding of mineralogy. A display on the history of the text is currently on exhibit at the Centennial Science and Engineering Library.
