Election of New Officers

In an online election from November 1-3, 2004 the following new officers were elected:

Wenjun Fan: President

Shuang Zhang: Vice President

Felix Jaeckel: Treasurer

Alexander Albrecht: Secretary

In the same election the new bylaws have been approved.

Here the election results in detail. The voter turnout was disappointingly low with 9 votes, 2 of which were invalid due to double vote and missing voter name. The remaining 7 votes are roughly 32% of our membership, thereby meeting the quorum set forth in the bylaws. The candidates received:

• Wenjun Fan: 7 votes
• Shuang Zhang: 7 votes
• Felix Jaeckel: 7 votes
• Alexander Albrecht: 6 votes, 1 abstention
• New bylaws: 4 votes, 3 abstentions
