Accreditation
The University of New Mexico receives general accreditation from the North Central Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools, with individual programs accredited by specialized scholarly and professional associations.

Advanced Credit
If you are a student with a strong academic background, you can earn college credit even before you graduate from high school.

Degree Programs
After completing approximately one year of college, you may begin fine-tuning your academic interests in one of the following areas:

  • College of Pharmacy
  • Division of Dental Programs

If no single college or program offers what you need, you may elect to transfer to University Studies and design an individualized Bachelor of University Studies degree.
