Vice President for Research Search Committee

Welcome

The University of New Mexico is conducting a nationwide search for the position of Vice President for Research.   Reporting to the Provost, the Vice President for Research ensures that faculty research can create the intellectual capital necessary to advance the institution.

The University of New Mexico is the flagship institution of New Mexico.  We are the only university in New Mexico designated by the Carnegie Foundation as a Very High Research University (VHRU), and we take great pride in our simultaneous designations as a VHRU and a “minority serving” and “Hispanic serving” university.

The Search Committee encourages both nominations and applications for Vice President for Research. Confidential inquiries and nominations should be sent to us (dougher@unm.edu, malloy@chtm.unm.edu) or to Greenwood & Associates (bettyasher@greenwoodsearch.com). To be assured of consideration, applications should be received by Greenwood & Associates by May 2, 2008.

The University of New Mexico is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer and education. Women and Minorities are encouraged to apply.

We look forward to hearing from you!
