August 2011:
- Wednesday, August 17th – (4:00pm – 5:00pm) –Valencia County Resiliency Corps Meeting Located in BT 117.The Resiliency Corps is a five year community mobilizing project. Over the next five years, residents will be invited to take part in a new community mobilizing and education project focused on reducing youth injury and strengthening youth resiliency factors. http://www.resiliencycorps.org/
- Monday, August 22rd – Friday, September 2nd – (Times will vary) – Back to school and Intro to Fitness Orientations in the FWEC, Room 134. Times are listed on the FWEC website www.unm/~fwec.edu and at the Fitness and Wellness Education Center. No appointment needed.
September 2011:
- Thursday, September 1st – (9:00am - 5:00pm) –Massages in room 134. Call the FWEC at 925-8830 to make an appointment.
- Friday, September 2nd – (11:00am – 12:00pm) –Special Friday Workout, Step Aerobics, FWEC, room 140.
- Thursday, September 8th – (11:00am-12:00pm)– Maintaining your shape over the years presentation by NM Sports and Wellness
- Monday, September 12th – (3:00pm-4:00pm) – Wellness Club Meeting, FWEC, room 134.
- Tuesday, September 13th – (12:00pm-12:30pm) – Vamos Valencia Campus Walk. Celebrate America on the Move & Steptember! Meet in front of the FWEC. Bring water, wear sunscreen and a hat.
- Thursday, September 15th – (9:00am-5:00pm) – Reflexology Massages by Lenore from the Porch. Call the FWEC at 925-8830 to make an appointment.
- Friday, September 16th – (11:00am – 12:00pm) –Special Friday Workout, Stretch and Relax, FWEC, Room 140.
- Wednesday, September 21st- (11:00am-12:00pm) – Tattoo/ Body Piercing Presentation by Ellie Burnett, RN from the Belen & Los Lunas Public Health Offices

- Wednesday, October 5th – Preventative Health Assessments - (7:00am-10:00am) — Located in SCC, Room 108 & 111.

FREE Blood Pressure Readings, FREE BMI, %Body Fat Testing, Waist Circumference, Bone Density Hell Scans and Dermascans. FREE Cholesterol & Glucose Testing, and Flu ShotsNote: 12 hour fasting is required for cholesterol and glucose testing. Please drink only water and take medications as prescribed.

- Wednesday, October 5th – Mammograms - (8:00am-5:00pm) — Mobile located in southeast parking lot at UNM-Valencia Campus. Free for Presbyterian Health Plan & Lovelace Health System members ONLY. There is a $150 fee at time of service for individuals with no insurance. An appointment is required. Call: Assured Imaging at 1-888-233-6121 to schedule your screening today.
- Wednesday, October 5th – (9:00am – 2:00pm) – United Blood Services Blood Drive – Log onto www.unitedbloodservices.org and enter the sponsor code “Valencia” to schedule an appointment or call the FWEC at 925-8830. The Blood Mobile is located in the southeast parking lot.

- Thursday, October 27th – (11:30am – 12:00pm) –Vamos Valencia Campus – Costume Walk. Meet in front of the FWEC in your most outrageous garb, but be prepared to take a ghoulish 30 minute walk.
November 2011:

- Thursday, November 17th – (All DAY) – Great America Smoke Out. Go cold turkey and smoke free for the day and be entered to win a cold turkey, perfect for the holidays ahead. Sign up at the FWEC before hand. Pick up your packets before the actual day to help you in your efforts to be smoke free! Greet the 2012 New Year a smoke-free you!

- Tuesday, November 22nd – (11:00am-12:00pm) – Holiday Eating presentation. Learn how to enjoy the holidays without packing on the extra pounds and ways to cope with holiday stress, by Katrina Uptain, Extension Nutrition Educator at the Valencia County Cooperative Extension Service.
December 2011:
