Submission Checklist

All papers and forms are to be sent directly to ISNPS. We prefer that your manuscript be emailed as an electronic file to isnps@unm.edu. Forms may be sent either by email or fax, though faxing (505.277.2814) is the most common method. Please DO NOT fax camera ready manuscripts. Fax quality is not sufficient for publishing in the proceedings.

1. Double check your manuscript
   
   --Did you embed all fonts when saving your file? (Normally applied to PDF documents)
   
   --Have you double-checked your numbering of all figures, tables, and equations?
   Is your manuscript single-spaced and in Times Roman font? (Times Roman is the only font you should use throughout your entire paper)
   
   --Does each page fit inside the allowed margins without large amounts of blank space on a page?
   
   
2. if you have used MS Word’s “Track Changes” function, please go through the manuscript and choose to accept or delete your changes and comments, then turn off “Track Changes.”  Leaving this function active often produces problems with the final camera ready copy.
   
   
3. Include an abstract for the STAIF-2007 Abstract Book, prepared according to template shown on the Templates Page. This is limited to one 5 ½ x 8 ½ inch page. You may use the same abstract as in your final camera ready paper, or use different text if you choose.  This is due no later than October 1, 2006.
   
   
4. Sign and include the Transfer of Copyright form.
   
   
5. Permissions: to use previously published material, you must obtain written permission from the owner of the rights to the material (the original publisher and/or author). For more information, consult the Forms Page.
   
   
6. Offprint/Reprint Order form, if you wish to obtain reprints of your paper with your final manuscript.
   
   
7. Enclose a STAIF Page Charge Form if your paper is more than 8 pages long with your final manuscript.
   
   
8. Submit a bio of the person who will present the paper at STAIF-2007.
   
   
9. Register for the conference.
   
   
10. Make mention of any items which need special attention in your cover letter or the email that accompanies your files.
    
    
11. Keep copies of all forms and papers for your files.

Can't email your manuscript? You may send a hardcopy and electronic copy on disk to:
