Become a Member of the Maxwell Museum Association
Please take a moment to learn about us.
The Maxwell Museum Association is a non-profit organization dedicated
to furthering the Maxwell Museum's cultural, educational and scientific
mission. All donations are tax deductible to the full extent of governing
law and may be eligible for corporate matching funds. Ask your employer
for information on your business or corporation matching gift program.

MEMBERS' CONTRIBUTIONS ALSO:
Support the Clark Field Library
This fine small research library has thousands of volumes on the variety
and richness of world cultures. Membership contributes to the support
of this archive.
Acquire and preserve artifacts
The acquisition and preservation of items of cultural and historical significance
from around the world are a part of the Maxwell Museum Association's mission.
The Association consults with the Museum on its needs and some of the
marvelous and beautiful items in the Museum's collections are gifts of
the Association.
Install exhibits
The support of the Membership helps provides funds for the installation
of new and traveling exhibits, allowing the public more accessibility
to own its history and heritage and more opportunities to learn in depth
about other cultures.
Support scientific research
Membership helps provide funds for scientific research projects through
collaboration with the Museum's Development Committee, contributing to
the acquisition and dissemination of knowledge.
Encourage volunteerism
The Maxwell Museum Association organizes an annual party and educational
program and provides rewards for the Museum's many priceless volunteers.
Encourage community partnerships
The Maxwell Museum Association is committed to assisting the Alfonso Ortiz
Center for Intercultural Studies in raising the matching funds for the
NEH Challenge Grant the Center has been awarded for its unique and innovative
programs of community partnerships.

MEMBERS' CONTRIBUTIONS:
Support the Maxwell Museum's educational programs
Each year almost 10,000 New Mexico school children and community groups
are educated, entertained and delighted by the Maxwell Museum's "Travelling
Trunk" exhibitions and special hands-on Museum tour programs. The
Maxwell Museum Association contributes half the operating budget of this
invaluable educational resource.
Support the Maxwell Museum's public programs
Many more New Mexicans and visitors alike enjoy free or minimally priced
cultural programs such as Arts & Craft Demonstrations, Music From
Around The World, Ethnic Lunches, lectures, and trips. Membership contributions
support in part these delightful and fascinating programs.
